TOWN HALL WEDDING PRICING

NOT JUST LIVING FOR THE WEEKEND
My midweek package is designed to fit in with the typical scheduling of a small, town hall celebration. I’m on hand to capture your arrival, the ceremony, some group shots and a few natural portraits. The fun doesn’t need to end there either. Nothing accompanies a London town hall ceremony better than a pint in the local afterwards. Whether it’s just the two of you toasting married life, or a full on knees-up, my package allows time for documenting some post-ceremony celebrations too.
Of course, two hours isn’t always enough to capture all that you might have planned. So, extra hours are available to add on however you like.

THE midweek INVESTMENT
My midweek town hall package is available from Mondays – Fridays, with a minimum hire time of two hours. Extra hours can be added at any time work on a first come, first served basis and whilst mid-week tends to be more available, busier times of the year can still get booked up well in advance.
My midweek town hall package (two hour min) starts at:
£495

PRE-CEREMONY PREP
‘Getting ready’ photos would certainly mean tagging on an hour or two to the package. Though if you want to add to the narrative of the day and you’d like the chance to include a little more of that candid magic, then it’s certainly worth the investment
Any type of pre-ceremony preparation is one of my favourite things to document. For me, it’s less about photographing hanging dresses and polished cufflinks and more about capturing the excitement and nervous energy that is so unique to that part of the day. Sometimes it can be a moment of quiet reflection and at other times it’s a chance to see off a few drinks with your best mates. Either way, it’s intimate, it’s significant to you and your gang and it’s a lot of fun to be a part of!

THE CEREMONY
Town hall ceremonies tend to be on the short side of things. With this in mind, I make sure that I pick my spots quickly and discreetly, so as not to miss out on any of the action.
Despite being slightly more condensed, the ceremony is still a deeply personal experience and I treat it accordingly. The last thing anyone needs when committing their life to another person is a volley of flashes and a camera lens popping up between their legs.

GROUP PHOTOS
Group photos or ‘Family Formals’, as they’re unaffectionately known, are often dismissed as being ‘stuffy’ or ‘old fashioned’, which really doesn’t have to be the case. I usually ask my couples to write down a short list of proposed groups in advance in order to keep things quick and simple on the day. Then it’s just a case of getting your nearest and dearest in place for a quick snap. If your gran wants to throw gang signs and your nephew refuses to wear a shirt, then that’s all good. Families are complicated and I’m here for it.
.
PORTRAITS
Whether it’s their beams of natural light, their art deco styling or endless leading lines, town halls definitely lend themselves to framing people in love. Time is usually allocated for us to use parts of the building for a few couple photos. As always, nothing weird, nothing cringe-worthy, just a wander around the beautiful corridors for a few relaxed, pain-free portraits that will capture you just being you.
